Here is this week’s round-up of adorable adoptables available at Toronto Animal Services (North). As always, we have a little more information about each of them on the Posh Pets’ Facebook page and you can get all of the details by contacting TAS directly.

Incidentally, Miki (the beautiful dog in this first photo) was our 299th subject for 2012! I’m sure you would agree that she is stunning and, in person, is such a calm, sweetheart who walks beautifully on her leash. Come and meet Miki and all of her friends today!

After a bit of a vacation, I went back to TAS this morning. Boy, did that feel good! Lots of tail-waggers to meet and photograph, and some really gorgeous pets just awaiting their forever homes.  If you see a guy or gal that you like, please contact Toronto Animal Services (North Region) directly. They can arrange a meeting with your prospective new family member.

You can also find out a little bit more about each of these furry faces on the Posh Pets’ Facebook page. Please check it out and share their images!

First, are the graceful felines…

And now the tail-wagging canines…

Thanks for joining us – we’ll see you again next week!

There was a whole gaggle of furry faces that passed in front of the Posh Pets‘ lens this week! And each one was adorable and is eagerly awaiting their forever family to come and find them! There is a little more info on each of these future pets on the Posh Pets’ Facebook page, but please contact Toronto Animal Services (North Region) directly to arrange an introduction. And thank you to all that share their lovely images…it really does help in finding them homes.

It is not everyday that Posh Pets is called upon to photograph a celebrity (we are not “pup-parazzi”!), but we got the opportunity a few weeks ago when we were asked to photograph Professor Meowingtons. For the uninitiated, Meowingtons is the happy feline belonging to Joel Zimmerman, who is more famously known as Deadmau5. According to my most recent look at his facebook page, Professor Meowingtons has 99,997 fans! So yes…he is kind of a big deal.

He is also a lovely cat. I hope I am not ruining his reputation here (not sure of his preferred on-line persona), but in person he is a gorgeous, cuddly, totally chill kitty. He was the most lovely host on the day we descended upon his home and graciously allowed us to set up lights and a background, and photograph him for a special project. No, I do not know all of the details of the project. But, this I do know – Professor Meowingtons lives a good life with Deadmau5.

We were asked to produce some images of Meowingtons, on white seamless, staring hard at the camera as well as a few profiles. So, nothing too fancy. But, I am very happy to share one of my favourite images of him. Enjoy!

Introducing the first Toronto Animal Services Adoptables of 2012! Please note that some of the cats are not yet available for adoption, but they soon will be. If you would like to receive more information or check up on them, please go to the Posh Pets Facebook page or contact TAS directly.

First up is Daphne. At 4 months old, she is a very active little girl who rarely stops for anything or anyone. She absolutely loves to play!

Venus is 3 years old and loves to be picked up and cuddled.

Apalonia is such a sweetie, but very shy. She felt most secure in her little kitty tunnel where she could watch the world go by. But look at those eyes – they are big and beautiful!

This beautiful gentle soul is well-behaved and has gorgeous eyes! Alice is 6 years old and knows her basic commands. Imagine getting to look at that face every day!

This 3 year old girl is a little rambunctious, but that is just because she loves people. And treats!

We will see you all back here next week!
